Note: I've implemented multiplayer in this game using GodotSteam, which means it makes more sense to download the demo over there (on Steam). The demo here on itch is pretty busted, and I can no longer update it, so feel free to head over there if you want to try the demo (or, if it's after August 25th, buy the game!).
Why Do Boys Play Games? is an upcoming 2D turn-based tactical strategy game in which you join a fantasy football league, draft a team, and befriend league-mates in , the league clubhouse before battling them on the field. Demo available now, also available on Steam!

Hey, I tried it out and had fun but I got stuck in the tutorial fight. I had beaten two of the opponents and then the third got stuck in the middle of his attack animation. I foolishly forgot to take a screenshot.
I'm really interested to see where the friendships and rivalries go.
I would appreciate it if the game were faster paced though. All of the players are very tanky.
Thanks for the feedback! This is an older demo because I didn't expect anyone to actually play it on itch, the newest one on Steam has a ton more bug fixes. I appreciate you playing my demo after I played yours, though I hope you know I played it out of genuine interest and not in hopes of return feedback haha.
